Good day, gentlemen.
I'm Anubis, and now I'd like to tell you about my experience at the OPHILEX state level philatelic exhibition at Ravenshaw University Cuttack.
What exactly is Philately?
Philately is the hobby of collecting stamps, and it is often regarded as the king of all hobbies or the king's hobby.
Okay, now that I've introduced you to the world of philately, let me begin to convey my journey. I'd want to express my heartfelt gratitude to our Principal Ma'am, who was really kind and offered me one day's leave to attend the exhibition. This will not be feasible without her. Also, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to Shri Biswanath Mishra, who has been a great help and mentor to me.
I travelled to Cuttack on the 24th to see the exhibition. Because there was no time left and the exhibition had already begun, I had to change my clothes in a neighboring restaurant.

When I arrived, I met my mentor, Biswanath sir, who led me to the exhibition hall and discussed the specifics of all the exhibits before taking me to the hall where my exhibit was located. For the first time, my exhibit was displayed in a state level exhibition.
I saw my dream stamps for the first time in front of me.The sight of them captivated me. I was so excited that I immediately began photographing it and enjoying the day. I also met a lot of interesting people there.
But it was the youngsters' engagement that disappointed me. It would not be inaccurate to say that I was the youngest there, and it saddens me to hear that the monarchs' pastime is dwindling day by day. People regard it as an old-fashioned pastime. If archaeology and artifacts are not old school, then philately is surely not an old school pastime. The kids will benefit much from this activity. They will get valuable information, gain valuable experience, and meet many wonderful and new people, all of which will benefit everyone.
As a result, I wish to encourage all young people to take up this activity.
Those who waste their valuable time in front of a screen should invest that time in this activity since it will be profitable and provide a wonderful gift in our lives.
For me, stamps are my life; I am enthralled when I see and study them.
Philately assisted me in obtaining a happy time in my life.
